Addmaster shortlisted for Export Award at Made in the Midlands Awards

Addmaster has been shortlisted for an Export Award at the Made in the Midlands Awards, organised by a media company, Insider.

Addmaster is among four other companies vying for the award: Radwell International, Ascott Analytical Equipment, OLPRO and Morningside Pharmaceuticals. In all, the finalists for the annual celebration of the region's manufacturing prowess are listed across ten categories.

Insider deputy editor Ian Griffin said: "This year's Made in the Midlands Awards are set to be another inspiring showcase of the region's world-class manufacturing sector.

"Once again, it's fantastic to see such a strong line-up of businesses, from well-known names such as Pukka Pies, Forterra and Morningside Pharmaceuticals to growing, cutting-edge companies such as Contechs, Envisage Group and Addmaster (UK).

"It's also great to see businesses who are based right across the Midlands, including Loughborough, Burton on Trent and Dudley."

The winners of each category will be announced at a gala dinner on 26 May at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel, Birmingham.

Lisa Brian, Client Marketing Manager comments: “Here at Addmaster we are honoured and excited to be shortlisted for the Export Award at the Made in the Midlands Awards.

“We are extremely proud of our innovations in antimicrobial technology and all the work we have done in our overseas markets over the past year. We have seen rapidly growing demand for our products across the world, especially amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, so it is pleasing to see all the efforts from across our business recognised in this way.

“As a company based in Stafford, in the heart of the Midlands, we are also proud to be contributing to the local economy and delighted to be part of the awards event taking place later this month.”

Addmaster has over recent years won numerous awards for export, including a prestigious Board of Trade Award, introduced to celebrate companies that have demonstrated exceptional innovation, delivering prosperity to their local communities and championing free trade.

Addmaster has also received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade, and the Staffordshire Chambers Business Award for International Trade.

Addmaster is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Polygiene GroupTM.
